Shrimp & Grits Festival - Destin

This past Saturday, February 27, the 2nd Annual Shrimp & Grits Destin took place on the Destin Harbor. Over 63,000 shrimp and 3,000 pounds of heirloom grits later... The event partnered with Boys & Girls Club of the Emerald Coast raised over $20,000 and was sold out in 30 minutes. Looking like 2022 will be an even bigger event!

The mission is an important goal for locals. Community Food Festival is to raise public awareness and financial support to end children’s food insecurity and other children’s issues. By supporting local food banks, and providing financial assistance to children’s programs and local pantries we will help those who cannot help themselves.
