Destin, Fla. – The City of Destin’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be held at the Destin Community Center
on Thursday, November 30 at 6 p.m. This will be an outdoor event for the entire family with a visit from Santa
Claus, hot chocolate and cookies served, and entertainment from the Destin Elementary Chorus. Donations of
one non-perishable food item will be collected for families in need.
As a reminder, the City’s Christmas parade will be be held on Saturday, December 9 at 10 a.m. This year’s theme is
“A Christmas Vacation”.
