Realty ONE Group Emerald Coast Realtor Spotlight: Jasmine Nguyen

As we wrap up the end of July, we’d like to take a moment to reveal our July Realty ONE Group Emerald Coast (ROGEC) Realtor spotlight. This month’s realtor is Jasmine Nguyen! Jasmine is a native to the Florida area, born in Valparaiso. She and her family later moved to Fort Walton Beach, where Jasmine attended Choctawhatchee High School. Jasmine has been living and working in Destin for more than 10 years. There’s something special about working with a realtor who is native to the area. Jasmine’s pride for her city is reflected in her work as a realtor and in her everyday life.

Jasmine is described as multifaceted, meticulous, and motivated. With three years in the industry and as a native of the area, Jasmine is an expert in Florida real estate. Jasmine shared two of her favorite parts of her job: “One, I love making connections with new faces in the area, and two, I enjoy helping my new neighbors find their forever home and being a resource to their friends and families!” However, Jasmine wasn’t always going to be a realtor. “I initially wanted to be an architect,” she said. “As life progressed, I figured selling the real estate would be better for me than drafting the projects! I may be picking up interior design in addition to being a realtor as well soon.” Thank goodness she changed career path because it is no secret that she was destined to be a realtor.

Being a realtor isn’t the only thing Jasmine is an expert in. Jasmine proudly shared, “I am a certified beach professional and have all the gear necessary to have a full day in the sun with friends and family. It’s easy to find me on the beach with my REALTOR® flag flying high!” We absolutely love her passion for all things Destin and realty. It was no surprise that when asked for her opinion on purchasing real estate in Destin, she had this to say: “Why wouldn’t you want to purchase real estate in Destin? The gorgeous beaches are a given, but it's a small city with a big community feel. Everyone is friendly and always willing to help their neighbors when needed. The fishing events hosted here are epic and a sight to see! And our schools’ ratings are in the top of the state! And don't forget about our local food and wine events—you'll most likely find me there!”

Jasmine explained that her biggest motivator is setting a good example for her 11.5-year-old daughter and striving to achieve generational wealth! She said, “I'm naturally a hardworking person and strive for perfection for myself and for my family. I've always felt the weight of the future of my family on my shoulders and strive for perfection.”

When Jasmine isn’t working hard, she’s playing hard! Outside of work, she enjoys traveling. She said, “It’s all about learning about different types of culture, lifestyle, and scenery—I'm obsessed! My last big trip was island hopping in the Philippines where I was able to go canyoneering (a mix of hiking and cliff jumping) and snorkeling with whale sharks!” Jasmine also shared that she had just surprised her daughter with an eight-week-old F1B mini goldendoodle! Although Jasmine has her hands full, she stays motivated by her love for life.
