Realty ONE Group Emerald Coast Realtor Spotlight: Damir Simovic

Summer is officially here, and along with it comes another realtor spotlight from Realty ONE Group Emerald Coast (ROGEC). Our realtor spotlight for June is Damir Simovic. He is originally from the beautiful southern part of Europe known as Croatia. But Damir has been traveling to Destin for about seven years and finally put down roots six months ago, and he’s bringing more to the Emerald Coast than just his realtor expertise; his adventurous soul and love for life bring a whole new flair to the Destin shores.

Real estate comes easily to Damir who said, “I have moved so many times, I understand the concerns and details involved.” His passion for real estate has driven his determination to help clients navigate a complex and competitive market and settle easily. Aside from his personal experience, Damir has worked several years in the realty business. He’s been a licensed realtor in Florida for only three months, but prior to moving to Destin, Damir worked under a developer in St. Louis, Missouri.

Damir said his biggest motivator is “achieving personal goals and [helping] my clients. I seek to continue learning how to better myself and my skills. As difficult as buying or selling a home could be, I strive to make it as smooth as possible and make clients’ dreams come true.”

Damir said the favorite part of his job always circles back to his clients: “I love meeting people and hearing their stories. There is always something to be learned in this business; it never stops. I love that! Each day is different, and with that comes creativity of making dreams happen.”

Outside of work, Damir spends his days along the beautiful Destin water or enjoying his hobby of cars which, he says, includes “anything from a 1965 Lincoln Continental to an off-roading Jeep Wrangler.” Damir also enjoys snorkeling, bungee jumping, and sky diving. It is safe to say that Damir is quite the daredevil.
