The crisp fall air is something magical down here in Destin and it’s calling your name! Destin in the fall guarantees less traffic and coolers temperatures but, what is there to do? Baytowne Art & Food Fest: 

Kick-off your fall events the right way with our Baytowne Art & Food Fest running from September 3rd- 5th. Each evening from 5pm-10pm head down the village streets where you will find various pieces of artwork from local and regional artists. Additionally, fuel your cravings with tasty bites from the area’s best restaurants & food trucks. The event will also have live music and they end the weekend with a bang by presenting a Labor Day firework show! The fireworks show will be over the lagoon on Sunday the 5th at 9:30. Destin Fishing Rodeo: 

Calling all fishermen! In Destin, we are known as, “ The Luckiest Fishing Village!” It seems fitting we offer a fishing rodeo. Join in on the fun for the 73rd annual fishing rodeo, October 1st-31st. All you need is a captain and a boat! Lucky for you, Destin has the largest charter fishing fleet in the country, so booking a boat is easy. 26th Annual Festival of the Arts: 

Join creatives from all over the globe for the annual Festival of the Arts on October 30-31st! Artists come together to compete for 10,000 in cash awards representing 18 different mediums in an outdoor walking exhibit. The entertainment does not stop there, the event will have live music, a food bistro, a wine and beer garden, and a collaborative art exhibit!

43rd Annual Destin Seafood Festival: 

Foodies unite for the Destin Seafood Festival, October 1-3rd! The is one of the largest fall events of the season and lucky for us, it’s right here on the Emerald Coast. This three-day festival takes place on the beautiful, Destin Harbor. Food vendors and local restaurants set up along the Destin Harbor and serve up fresh-caught seafood! The entertainment expands beyond the delicious food! The Seafood Festival will have live entertainment, arts and crafts, and fireworks. Three separate kid zones are spread out along the boardwalk, giving families plenty to explore. The Annual Mingo Toss contest ― an old-fashioned "fish throwing contest" just for kids ― is a fun photo op for parents, too. You will leave with a full stomach and a happy heart! 13th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival: 

Beer enthusiast, we found an event just for you! Check out the Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival on October 8-9th. At the event, you will have beer samplings from local brews and live music on the lawn! The event will even feature over 200 domestic and international craft beers. You will also learn about the different types of lagers and ales from various different styles.
